LEATHERFACE AT THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE (2021)
A public performance done as part of CONDITIONS + POSSIBILITIES. Who will survive and what will be left of them? A photo from this performance became the cover image for Plaster Cocktail Vol. 3 in 2022.

Human/Sacrifice (2020)
One of many performances done live via ZOOM in 2020. An era of apocalyptic art made from the comfort of your own home.

Bandera Negra (2019)

2,975 (Performance for Puerto Rico) (2018)
A performance about the death toll in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria and how the government swept it under the rug. The performance ends with me doing 100 push-ups. Exhibited at Grace Exhibition Space and for Satellite Art Fair in 2018, and once again at The Clemente in 2019. Read more about this performance in the Emergency Index archives.

There Is A Light (2017)

…And What Will We Do When We Get There? (solo show, 2016)
My second solo show. Sculptures where created with lights and dirt. This hour long performance about aging was in conversation with my solo show (about death) in 2015. Performed only once at cloyingPARLOR.

In The Universes Where I Died (solo show, 2015)
My first solo show and once that shares a name with my latest one in 2022. Performed at Gallery Sensei as part of Animamus Art Salon. Both an hour long high intensity performance piece and a meditation on almost dying as a baby. Read more about this performance in the Emergency Index archives.

Do You Understand Me? (2014)
Inspired by the work of Regina José Galindo and Ana Mendieta. I stepped in tomato soup and left foot prints on the gallery floor, shaved my beard and pasted it to the wall, and covered myself in feathers from a down pillow. This performance took place at Panoply Performance Laboratory during Empathy Play the first show done the Social Health Performance Club collective. Bubblegum Bubblegum (2013)
My signature piece performed several dozen times beginning in 2013. I had to retire it outright by 2015 due to how much damage it was doing to my body. I choose someone from the audience and say “Bubblegum Bubblegum in a dish, how many pieces do you wish?”. The number the audience member says is how many times they have to whip me. An exploration on how audiences will treat a performer when all the power is given to them.

Esoteric Actions Workout Tape (2012)
The first of many dozens of performances I did at Panoply Performance Laboratory between 2012 and 2018. I follow along with an increasingly deranged workout tape of my own creation until I collapse from exhaustion.

The Ringer, The Raker, and The Meat (2011)
My first performance ever. I never would have realized I would go one to make over 200 more as I hung naked from that ceiling. Made in collaboration with Irvin Morazan and Jaeeun Lee.
