A photo project created while my COVID-19 infection was at its worst. I got sick very early on in the pandemic, before testing was available anywhere and almost everyone was still “sheltering in place”. This was so early that the CDC was still recommending that people not wear masks because they were afraid of a shortage and frontline workers needed them most. Had myself and everyone else who entered the building I work at worn a mask I might have never gotten sick.
In these images I am fighting the virus by inhaling hot steam coming from my sink while I am under a towel.
