Featuring Theresa Buchheister as “The Hamster” and Jenna Kline as “The Schoolgirl”.
Naked with chains and balloons around his neck, Geraldo Mercado drags two cinder blocks tied around his wrists through the warehouse floor of the Gowanus Ballroom for one hour. If it ever seems like he is not putting in 100% effort into this ultimately futile and pointless task, he is whipped harshly by the two costumed women.
Performed at “Collective Spectacle” at The Gowanus Ballroom during the Brooklyn International Performance Art Festival.
